It is a fan made Star Wars movie (apparently Lucas fully supports fan made Star Wars movies as long as they arent for profit) that kicks ass.

I'm in the process of downloading it right now, apparently its amazing...I'll tell you later when i watch it.

Okay, yeah. That was amazing. The best Star Wars since Ep VI easily.

These guys are amazing!

I wouldn't go that far.

It's an excelent movie for a movie created with no budget. Frank Hernandez (Declan) was really the only actor with good chops, all the rest were adequate (good community theater support, but if this were a real movie, they wouldn't cut it).

Several plot points never really filled out (why does the commander pull a gun on the stormtrooper?), suffers from the same problem of many shorts: moving to quickly (though, in fairness, Star Wars could be accused of this too). Nonetheless, an interesting plot and all the major points fell into line very well. Gina Hernandez (Taryn Anwar)'s visions were an excelent plot developer. Particularly in setting up the Stormtrooper raid and in revealing the past relationship between Shane Felux (Cade) and Holland Gedney (Roux Anwar). However, that coolness was blown when Shane's next line was "You'll help me because it was your sister's dieing wish." Because, you know, I followed that. It took a second to realize: ok, that must have been her sister. But then Taryn's not recognizing Cade doesn't really work.

Good connection between Zhana (Karen Hamang) and Taryn. Established a good villain-hero dynamic.

Fight scenes were extremely adequate. Good community theater level fighting, maybe extremely-off-broadway quality. But better has been done.

The place where this movie really shines is the visual effects, which are actual movie quality. These guys have a career at least in video games if not in Hollywood.

An extremely excelent fan-film. If they were trying to show that independent films could be studio quality, they didn't do it.
