Lights all the way. Those back shots really hurt and it's just fun annoying people with them. Plus my fav. mech is a light. The good o' Raptor. Plus it's just fun charging into larger opponenets who foolishly get in my way.

We should try ramming a Daishi with a Star of Dashers, sure it isnt honorable but its funny as hell.

I've taken out a Daishi and an Atlas with 3 Savannah Masters. They were destroyed in the charging attacks but oncve the leg was gone, the head became a viable charging target.

Did the Atlas get to do anything at all?

He moved a bit and kept up a steady rate of fire but the to hits were too high for anything to land. Never hit with the AC but got a few shots with the LRM and the SRM. No lasers hit either. Between the laser fire of the Savannah's and losing two to charging attacks against the LL, The Atlas fell down. The other Savannah Master zoomed arounnd, lined up and came in flank speed and got the head hit.

Yawn, Not to be an ass, but any fool can win with a mech like that, all you need to do is win initiative once.
I prefer 3025 medium mechs.
They force you to pay attention when you play, watching heat, movement, your opponent's movement, and the terrain. They have a pretty decent mix of weaponry and movement. My second favorite class are the 3025 lights, which take a certain amount of skill to be able to maneuver well, and use to the best of their abilities.

Poor Atlas I hope he died honourbly at least. That's a humiliating defeat for death's head. _________________ A wise man speaks because he has something to say. A fool speaks because he must say something.

Gonna have to be medium chassis. They may be excellent at nothing, but they are very versatile and good in just about any role.

Mediums all the way. They pack good firepower, good speed, and good armor in the perfect package. They are also the most versitile of all the weight classes. Lighter ones are good scout/spotter units, and the heavier ones are great brawlers.

Not likely that he will.

Yes but its a shame. Always a shame to lose a very active member. Especially on a site such as this one. With very few active members its got a nicer atmosphere than most but its a shame when one goes.
