Ok, just wanted to let you guys know I'm almost finished with this. It will cover everything except actual mech battles, since I prefer CBT for those  .
Anyways, been slow work on this and all my other projects due to 50+ hour work weeks.

Sounds fascinating.
Will there be conversion tables to transfer Mechwarrior gear and characters to BURPS?

Yes, this is part of what has been taking me so long. For the first few months since I came up with the idea I didn't have any edition of MW at all. Now I have 1st and 2nd ed. and will have 3rd soon hopefully. Once I've got 3rd I'll make conversion formula for handheld weapons and such.
Anyways, on a personal note, I'd like to set up a weekend to come down and visit you and Seraph.. meet you guys and play some CBT
Assuming of course I get another job right away (got fired today for no reason, lame).

Hi again people, time to announce that BURPS 1.0 is ready for consumption, however it is very base and includes only weapons and armor conversion stuff, no skills as of yet. Only putting it out here as a way to get feedback.
