==Overview:==
This little aerodyne is a tiny mech-carrier. Its frame is so small that it is
often ignored.

==Capabilities:==
Weighing a puny 800 tons, the Pocket Dropship is no toe-to-toe fighter. It
carries 18 Medium Lasers to merely defend itself and perhaps soften up the LZ
for the single mech contained inside. Its rather fast, at a maximum of a
bonecrushing 5.5 Gees, meaning that the ship has some modifications so the
crew doesn't black out.

It has a good amount of armor to ensure it doesn't get blow out of the sky.

Interesting idea, but I personally wouldn't use it. Gimmie a leopard any day. If I need anything in a place, I want at least a lance there.

What is it good for? It blocks one hardpoint and does the same work that can be left to standard shuttles. Using it as stealthy transport for infantry commando would be another thing, but even then...

Theres plenty of aerodyne small craft willing to do that...

The main asset of the craft is speed. Lepoards usually better though.

Small crafts can execute flights from jump point to planet? No, you must send DropShip with it. This DS would allow stealthy delivery of diversionary force.

Um, actually, they can. There are several small craft in AT2 that are designed as Long Range Shuttle craft that trasport crew and cargo to and from jump points.

My 2nd version only moves 8/12 and only has 1.5t armor but has 22 days of fuel instead of only 12.

Oops, I overlooked that

To those ships, they would use more fuel - 1.84 t of fuel per day and some 25 t of fuel that makes some 14 days, not much to maneuver, especially when target is some distant planet.
