==Overview:==
The Manta Ray is a military version of the Aegis Deep sea sub. It is
considerably more expensive but when infiltrated into a target planet the
Manta Ray can wreck havoc on shipping lanes and even underwater defences.
Slightly slower than the Ageis the Manta Ray mounts a turret mounted Martel
model 5 Medium Laser, a common laser used throughout the Inner Sphere. A
unique design for the lasers was needed since the barrels would cause undu
drag. The same barrel less system was used as the medium pulse lasers on the
Raijin Mech produced by Comstar. Though lighly armored the Manta Ray has yet
to suffer combat losses. Ferro Fiberous armor was used to up the armor
protection.

On map, where is a lot of watter, pack of these Mantas (Piranhas) will make even mechs feel miserable.
