Gentlemen, in light of the new BBQ challenges faced by the Capellan Confederation today, the Chancellor has ordered that the CAF's primarily grilling machine, the Grillmaster, be updated to meet the flame-broiling challenges of the present day.
In light of advances in the art of flame-broiling delicious BBQ meals made by the NAIS, the Capellan Confederation's traditional superiority in this field is today endangered. Furthermore, scientists working in research centers throughout the Free Worlds League are developing advanced cockpit relaxation systems, including a more comfortable command couch, plasma-screen equipped cockpits for video game playing between battles, and, in a most alarming development, a cooler capable of delivering the thirsty FWLM mechwarrior with a colder beer than we can provide his counterpart in the CAF.
Make no mistake gentlemen. The situation is dire. If word of this new technology were to reach the mechwarriors of the CAF, we could expect to see mass defections. Solutions that were adequate thirty years ago simply cannot compete in today's more competitive environment.
The Chancellor has faith that the drunken engineers of Mordel's Bar and Grill are up to the challenge of producing a superior grill-mech.
The fate of the Confederation is in your hands.

Are we stuck with the Weber flamers? Producing an updated Grillmaster that still flames friendly units wouldn't help morale in any way that I can see. Well, unless it's delivered complete with secret police that report on any compl.. - I mean disloyalty.

so what's the plan of action...
I've already decided the La-Z-Boi command couch needs more features...we forgot to add a cupholder for beer in the first design
there also ought to be a fold-down tray where the pilot can eat whatever he grills up on the BBQ
a ton of cargo space for a keg would be good too...that way a single 'mech could carry enough beer for a company of infantry

I already thought about this
so list of equipment I would like to see contains:
sword - for chopping really large chunks of meat. If connected to flamer you may use it as fry pan.
Heavy flamer - with right fuel it's invaluable, tool for large scale food flaming.
TC - with ability to improve accuracy for people who drunk too much and still want to win some games against AI
Command console - someone may take you home and you are not forced to drink alone. With La-Z-Boi command couch of course.
C3 and satellite uplink - anyone said multiplayer? Of course with new Drink-and-play connection system.
Coolant pod - keeping drinks cool of course.
3/5/0 speed, armored cockpit, Heavy-duty gyro - well for your own safety 
I agree with some cargo space
Now we may take this mech and some Fireworks to make party 
Not much combat value in these items, but ..

The PPC should go ER and the AC upgraded to LBX with a switch to DHS that should give us plenty to work with. possibly a beagle probe for hunting game for the grill.
Now on to the more important details
This time i must insist on a beer nurohelmet with optional hookups from the 1ton fridge/wet bar that is fitted in the head  
A homer size beer holder would be about the right size right XXXXXL
1ton of kegs yeah about one infantry company or a very thirsty mechwarrior

Well as for the Command couch...don't forget to also make it one of those fancy shiatsu massage chairs. with temperature controlled drink holders on one side and remote/magazine rack on the other. Don't forget the fold out snack tray.

I would say AC/5 magazine would be ideal 20 80mm beer shots would be enough
