==Overview:==
After a number of years of living in the Inner Sphere, the Nove
Cat scientists were looking into designing a 'better' version of
the Elemental Battle Armor. After stripping down a few suits to
the frame-work, the scientists realized they could increase the
ground speed as well as keeping the jump capability of the
Elemental, also the missile pack redesigned to be modular, but now
it is permenantly attached to the back.
The first prototypes replaced the support laser with a heavy
support machinegun to reduce the weight in order to utilize the
modular missile pack, it wasn't untill after the Dimond Sharks
contacted the Nova Cats to sell to them the new Micro Pulse Laser,
that the Nova Cats redesigned the Elemental to use this new
weapon.
==Capabilities:==
The new Elemental, aka the Elemental II, looks identical to the
original Elemental in every way except now it permenantly mounts a
Micro Pulse Laser in place of the standard weapons, also the
missile pack is now modular, the standard two-shot SRM launcher
and the new three-shot LRM launcher.
Another surprising aspect of this new Elemental is the increased
ground speed, which is now doubled..

Star Captain Chase West received the new Elemental suit as a
replacement when her suit was destroyed in a live-fire war game
with Combine soldiers

To date, only two stars of the Elemental II have been deployed
along with the original Elemental

Interesting. I like the micro-pulse. Having a rapid fire weapon is a plus. For the anti-personell mount I'd use an assault rifle or perhaps a flamethrower. Perhaps a SAW.
