One of the best lights for strike duty or deep penetration recon: good speed, armor and firepower!
In the open use your speed and in constricted aereas 5 jump is ok.
Only drawback: I´ve driven no other mech as hot as this one!

In addition to its general munchiness, they also didn't fully armor the head, even though this 'mech is carrying 7 tons of armor. Seems to me they could take a point from each arm... _________________ "The enemy's gate is down."

15 years back i constructed this Mech only from the description in the old 3025 fluff and so my Mech had 9 points of armor since its first battle!
Don´t know why the offficial version keeps a low head protection, but i think most techs will be able to fix this problem your way with ease!

I never had a issue with the armor points. I like your fix. But I would rather have the more points on the arm then the head. head shots are usually killers anyway and are rare. To where the arms get far more hits. Maybe that's what they had in mind when the designed her

But with only 7 armor points any weapon doing 10 damage will cut your head off (or even two medium laser hits!)!
With 9 armor you´ll have still a good chance to survive!

Real munchkins allocate 8 points to the head. The guns that get through with one hit would get a crit roll anyway, but Large Lasers don't.

Well spoken Rudel Gurken. and like I said. in any given game. you will get more arm hits then head hits. and as for me. I would rather have more armor in the areas where I get more hits.
It's like most of my designs. I put most of the ammo in the legs. Because it has more armor then any other part of the mech (usually)

This is a good point...I usually try and balance torso and arm locations with multiples of five or eight, because that's what most weapons do. Why have seventeen points of armor...that extra point won't save you from internal penetration.
