MSC was developed by Capellan confederation as an alternative to RACs that started to appear with FedCom forces. MSC consists of reinforced AC barrel loaded with full ton of ammo. The ammo isn't fired mechanically but with electric impulse that ignites propellant. This allows very high rate of fire and simplifies whole weapon, but there is some risk of explosion, because whole system wasn't built for explosive projectiles used by standard ACs.
Use statistics for standard AC with following exceptions:
MSC/2 crit 1 tons 5
MSC/5 crit 4 tons 7
The weapon may fire any amount of projectiles per turn up to the amount of rounds stored in the weapon. Before attack, roll 2d6. If the roll is equal or lower than the amount of shells fired, than the weapon explodes just like it would if it suffered critical hit (the ammo that was intended to be fired will explode too)
MSC doesn't have ammo. The weapon is loaded with one ton of ammo. When the weapon is hit all ammo remaining in the weapon will explode and destroy the weapon.
Use Missile Hits Table to determine how many shots hit the target. Roll hit location for each shell, MSC shells can't be directed to one location with Targeting Computer.
