I must say that does look pretty damn good. A good blend of the classic style art with new digital, all but real looking computer graphics.

WOW, I must admit, that does look pretty impressive. Glad their doing the invid invaison story line instead of at the begining like the usually do.

You know if they really wanted to pull this movie off all they would have to do is come here and ask for suggestions. I don't know why they don't do stuff like that. I mean for any game movie ( and the only one that hasnt sucked is doom) they just need to get on the net and same some money on getting experts to consult for them. Then they would have a better plot and more money to spend on the movie itself.

I always though Wing Commander was pretty good. Not like Apollo 13 good (the other movie on that tape), but worth keeping around for the cheep melowdrama/space battles.

all the experts in the world won't mean much unless you get a director who knows and loves the game and story. That's what happen to "Wing Commander." the people who directed it. never played the game before.
Now. take a look a 'Lord of the Rings'. It rocked. why? because Peter Jackson had a deep love and knowellage of the story.
So. what we need is a gamer who knows the story and the game to direct it.

Honestly, why would they make the movie about anything but DA? After all, that's what they're trying to sell right now.

Sadly, this is true. Nobody is going to make a movie unless someone somewhere foots the bill. and right now. Fanpro has the only pockets deep enough to do it. and they aren't going to do it, unless they see some return. And since they can make more money on DA. guess which storyverse they are going to green light?
