I'm sorry. If a pilot in a Daishi cannot smear your Jenner all over the place, he shouldn't be in that 'Mech. Every Diashi config has atleast 1 pulse laser with most having 3 or more. A Jenner will at best manage a +4 move mod, +2 woods, and +4 range or a total of +10 for MPLs or +8 for LPLs. The pilot will get a +6 himself. Factor in the Jenners heat curve and IS pilot against a Daishi's heat curve and Clan pilot, and the scales tip abit more towards even to-hits. This game goes to the Daishi for shear ferrocity of his barrage. At this point, it is a numbers game. The Daishi will fire 1.5 to 2 times as many weapons as a Jenner with all of them higher powered.
Now mind you, crap happens and Goliaths can be fell'd by a single stone, but during an average combat situation and not a 1v1 balance game the Jenner will loose most of the engagements, IMHO.

Now Vaggie, Did I say anything about winning? All I said is I can run really fast, pelting it with fire and really piss off the beamouth for a few rounds, Then I die a horrible messy smelly burning death.

Don't worry, it is only a single Tie fighter... it must have gotten separated from a convoy.....

Grand Titan, for sure. I've seen more Titans blow themselves up without doing anything to the enemy. Also saw the thing die to small laser fire on 2 different occaisions.
The Upgrades one seems better, though...

Actually, when playing DC forces, I do a lot of swearing AT the Enforcer, because I've got to allocate two of my Panthers to make sure I take it down...and count of at least one of the Panthers probably getting mauled.

Some guy did that to me. I was in a Daishi (Widowmaker), he had a Koshi. he kept running around me, shaving bits of my armour off while I never could land a solid hit. Then he tried to DFA...
There was no unmarked boxes on his record sheet after my alpha strike. I was hit with a rain of dust, and slime from the AC20 head hit

Most overrated mechs.
The Direwolf and Atlas. Sure they are 100 tonners, pack a mean load of weapons but they are often the first to be singled out and mauled to pieces.
The Atlas for all its awesome short range firepower is perfect pickings for PPC and LRM boats while the Dire Wolf will attract down company level focus fire till it hits the ground.

The fact that these mechs are shot at first and by all don´t shows that they are overrated but that they are as dangerous as their reputation!

The biggest problem with clan players is they RARELY follow clan roe to begin with. Even Clan V Clan its the same. Rarely will you find a clan player that does follow thier roe.
