==Overview:==
The Moccasin was designed as a cheap patrol hydrofoil for use in operations in
and around river-ways and coast lines.
The Moccasin is armed with four machine guns, two of which are in a turret
mount. It was decided that the four would be sufficient for use against
infantry, commandos, and light vehicles and watercraft - the types of targets
the Moccasin was meant to intercept. The Moccasin also has a bay for carrying
commandos or security personell, but said bay could easily be used to carry
cargo or sensors.
==Variants:==
One Moccasin in four replaces the turreted machine guns with twin RL-10s and
adds an additional half ton of armor. These Moccasins are intended as harraser
and heavy patrol craft.
In addition, customers can have the front-mounted machine guns moved to the
sides of the craft.

Light, but dangerous boat (in it's category). Sufficient for dealing with smugglers or small recon units.

That's pretty much the idea.
I based it off of the Water Moccasin from the G. I. Joe line. I got a vintage (1984) Moccasin and (1982) MOBAT at a garage sale yesterday for only $0.75. Granted, they didn't have the drivers (Copperhead and Steeler, respectively) but that's still a good deal.
And for the Water Moccasin, that's about what it's designed to do - patrol waterways and intercept light craft.

Man... I still have my GI Joes from when I was a kid... them and transformers.
Anyhow... It's a nifty little craft, I'd certainly use it if I was defensive in a campaign. I could see it being useful for delivering special ops teams, too, kind of like the aquatic equivalent of a packrat or sometihng
