Yeah thats right...for those that are in western Mass, and within driving distance of the NY border, I am creating a Btech league to help consolidate gamers, and form a sence of unity, and all fo that fun stuff!
As the Commando for eastern NY, I am offering an open invite to all who are interested.
The name of the League is down to 4 different names which we are deciding on, but the League logo is being drawn by Matt Plog as we speak...yes having connections does help sometimes. 
We are kicking off our first game at the May Game-a-thon for the Council of V Nations here in Albany this weekend with a short but sweet civil war battle. over the summer when I get back from Origins, a campaign will start, along with the Martial Olmpiad.
i know there are at least 2 other commandos that hang here, so if hohiro would like to drop me a line, as well as the other Commando, please do so.
if anyone has any questions, please post them here, or email me.

Yes I would also be interested in any mailing list. Us southern new hampshire people tend to think of New York far away across a dagnerous and barely navigable void known as... MASSHOLECHUSSETS!

All you whiners from New England.... it takes a blink and you cross your state. So to Albany from Manchester or Shrewsberry is not an every weekend thing, but definetly in COn or tournement range.

New Englanders just have better things to do with their time, it comes from being naturally superior to the rest of the country. Why do you think the creator and hosts of this board are from MA? Worcester MA to be exact.

You mean the cold air we had for just under a month this year? It barely ever snows in New England anymore (a fact i'm bitterly depressed over). The rest of the country is stealing our snow, cause they think it is what makes us great. They forget that a New Englander has a birthright to be better then anyone else in the world.

well out League emblem is being drawn up by Matt Plogg...the name is being disputed but its down to 4 choices...
and yes driving an hour or so to game doesnt have to be an every wekeend thin...but unless you still live with mommy and daddy...that drive shouldnt be that much of a big deal.
I will also be running Martial Olympiad games after I come back from Origins this year.

There home is in Mass, but they are sorta loved collectively. They are a private business though and I think they wanted to move down to Rhode Island or Conneticut (could have been the Red Soxs but i'm pretty sure it was the patriots). Either way they would have still been the New England Patriots.
Cause New England rules.

Yeah the Pats almost moved to Conn a few years ago. The people of Conn and western Mass were very excited about it, but instead they got a new stadium in Foxborough Mass right next to the old one, the latest and greatest one in the league! I don't know why they didn't give it a retractable roof a la SafeCo field in Seattle, but maybe they want to repeat last years snow-bowl against the Raiders.
