Does anyone know or have a good guess:
1. How much does an empty suit of clan battle armor weigh?
2. How long does it take for an elemental to get into his battle armor and be ready for combat.
3. Can an elemental suit himself up, or does he need help?
4. Any other basic information about getting a suit of battle armor ready for battle.
5. Would battle armor SRM's be loaded before or after occupied by an elemental.
6. How long could an elemental reasonably be expected to stay in a suit of battle armor?
Thanks

No exact figures, but my guess is at least between 850 and 950 kg.

I remember reading some where that the process is not at all long. Less then 5 minutes even without help. Faster then putting on full plate.

Yes. An elemental can suit up solo by laying the suit parts on the ground and crawling in. Of course it is easier and faster to do it with help.

It's pretty simple according to fluff. Insert body part, seal component to main body, repeat. You have the eye sight HUD to power up and run through.

My guess is before if possible, after if in a pinch and you have help attaching it.

My personal role play is about 8 hours with some strain. Longer if not moving or being carried by a vehicle. Shorter if in combat or riding an omni mech as holding onto that bouncing mech requires excision. After an 8 hour shift of normal patrol or garrison duty the user will be sore and stiff but not much more.
Their may be rules in MW 3rd Ed. or even MW 2nd ed. if you want more specifics.

"Empty" how? unmounted weapons? No pilot?
Sans weaponry, the Clan Battle Armor has 245 KG to spare (sans missile launchers but with the flamer, 95 KG). With all weaponry mounted, the CBA has 15 KG of empty space left over. Pilot weight isn't tabulated in BA calculations.

Before. That way the warrior can simply climb in and be ready for action.

Some or most of your answers can be found in the Classic BattleTech Companion...it has the construction rules for Battle Armor...as well as background information for them...
