Inspired by the recent Man O' War thread.


The first is a simple line variant. Strong punch at range thanks to an ERPPC and ERLarge, backed up by a slew of ERMediums. Up close there's a nasty hit from a Streak-6. Heat management is a must thanks to the bevy of energy weapons.

Next is a different sort of line fighter. Heavy hits from the Gauss Rifle, coupled with the combined might of quad ERMedium lasers gives a nice tactical profile, especially when combined with the 90 meter jump capability.

all configurations, the Man O\' War is a versatile design, requiring little
time to change from one version to another.  The most common combination of
weapons is an LB 5-X autocannon and SRM-6 missile launcher on each arm, with a
small laser in the center torso.  Almost as frequently seen is a model that
carries two particle projection cannons in the right arm and four lasers in
the left--a large pulse laser, a medium pulse laser, and extended-range medium
and small lasers.
     When extra firepower is needed, the Man O\' War appears in Alternate
Configuration B.  This model lacks some of the versatility of the others but
carries a powerful Gauss rifle.  In the left arm, an SRM-4 rack sits atop an

     Another favorite model is Alternate Configuration C, which carries a
hexagonal array of medium lasers in its right arm.  The left arm holds a
massive Ultra-20 autocannon.  For defense, this model has an A-pod on each leg

Note: I have AMS on so many of the designs for two reasons: 1) AMS is now worth it because of TW and 2) i need on most of the designs a light weight, low heat item to fit into the remain ton and half.

I tried tomake one too. Long range weapons
(aehm, weapon) are (is) just for covering
your approach, but the ER LL will find some
use even at close range whenyou need to
make a hole. Hvy LL, MPLs and SRMs provide
the main punch and JJs allow it to squeeze
the most from it's oversized engine. So what
do you think?
