I just read on the Fox news site that Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin got killed while scuba diving. He took a stingray barb in the heart and died before paramedics could get out there. He was 44.
Too bad, I always enjoyed watching him on TV.

Aye, he will be missed by many people. He is survived by his Wife and 2 children.
I hate that word, survived, when used in this context.
I would always stop to watch him when he was on and I was flipping channels. He did a lot to raise awareness for conservationism around the globe. It will be hard to replace him in that area and we need more people shedding a positive light on it.

He will be missed. He was able to go out doing what he felt he was born for as well. How many of us actually can get that from life?
It was bound to happen, but it was a risk he accepted. I just hope his family is taken care of.

Live by the sword...die by the sword.
I'm pretty sure his family isn't hurting though...in his line of work, he'd have been a fool not to buy tons of life insurance.

I would be incredibly distressed and deeply hurt if I lost a spouse, no matter how much money I got from life insurance. I don't think the money is lessening the hurt his family is feeling.
