I would like to put here a few 'Mechs that appeared in local magazine called Dech Draka (Breath of the Dragon). I'll try to translate the fluff at my best and I would like to hear, what you think about the 'Mechs.

==Overview:==
Our warrior call this 'Mech Grassnake. It's probably an experimental model of
the Locust that gained a name of it's own as the time passed. It's a fast
jump less recon 'Mech, that is also useful for unexpected raids. It's firepower
at greater range is represented by a Magna medium laser, and for close range
fighting the Grassnake has two small lasers from the same manufacturer. These
lasers surpass the Machine guns carried by the original Locust. Energy weapons
and great speed almost predestine the 'Mech for guerrilla warfare (hit and
fade tactics). Often used variant of the Grassnake is the GSN-3R, that
replaces the small lasers with another medium.

destruction of enemy scouts, recon missions, and leading light 'Mech lances.
Two Diplan HD large lasers represent a powerful weapon against distant
targets, but secondary weapons, a ChrisComp 39 and a Browning machine gun, was
considered insufficient by many warriors. The experience gathered over the
years shows, that the Jumper surpasses both the Shadowhawk and the Wolverine,
and it can fight with Griffin as an equal. There is one more thing I must
mention. An experienced warrior P. Beatty from Desert Rats once said, that no
one will ever get him into the cockpit of the Jumper, because it overheats so
much, that after a prolonged fight a man has fried butt. It's up to you to
consider his words.

==Overview:==
Despite the fact that barrel-like silhouette of this battle machine looks funny
(it was probably this silhouette that gave the 'Mech the lovely name Fatman),
it's truly a deadly foe. Those warriors, who considered it to be an easy
target and got too close to it, regretted for the rest of their lives (about
two or three minutes) their fatal error. A mammoth Defiance Mech Hunter
autocannon (the same as the one mounted on Atlas) is probably the most
dangerous weapon in the Inner Sphere. The weapon is backed by two Defiance B3N
medium lasers, also quite a threat for robots of the enemy. Even in a ranged
fight the Fatman isn't completely without chance. ChrisComp 43 large laser and
especially the Delta Dart missile launcher can reach targets even at extreme
range. But everything has it's strengths and weaknesses and even the FTM-1X is
not an exception. The Fatman is slow and cumbersome, it's rear armor is weak
and long range weapons are insufficient after all. That's why it pays off to
send the 'Mech to fight accompanied by a long range fire support 'Mech. The
Crusader and the Catapult are well suited for this role.

The Hercules probably originated in the same time as the Atlas, in a time when
the 'Mechs of the heaviest weight category were very popular in Star League.
The main weapon of HRC-3V is obviously the giant Armstrong Mk.IV autocannon.
Quite fearsome are also two Kreuss Particle Projection Canons, able to quickly
burn any target, even if it's more than a half kilometer far-away. The
secondary armament is weaker than that found on the Atlas, because it only
consists of three Defiance B3M medium lasers. Overall are the two 'Mechs
roughly equal. Their missions are naturally similar. To be in a thick of
battle and to stomp the enemy to the ground.

Would definitely be curious to see this one go up against my Mjollnir. weapons and lay out are very similar, what with the dual PPCs and the mammoth AC/20. Both use lasers as the secondary weapons. I might have to do that one weekend to see what happens.
