Unfortunately, that knowledge has leaked to other people and now I have to be a little more careful about the defense of the installation." He takes a long breath.
"The Primary reason you are here is defense of the installation, both exterior and interior. Most of my unit is made up of scientists and technicians, so they aren't capable of wartime defense. The conditions of the planet itself make for a difficult battlefield to begin with and to ask someone whose greener than celery to try to fight under these circumstances is stupidity at it's finest. I need tactical minds...not technical ones. The interior of the base needs to be patrolled on foot to keep anyone from sabotaging the defenses, and should that fail, I will need pilots capable of mecha combat on the surface of the planet. It's not pretty if it comes to that but it is a possibility."
Djinn presses a button on the console and the room seals tight.
"I trust everybody in my operation. It's just the kind of person that I am, but the only one who I KNOW who is 100 percent loyal is Djinn. She can grant access to all personnel files and give that information to you at any point in time."
Djinn nods and says, "I have detailed files on everyone who is at the base right now. I don't know everybody personally but I can find out anything you might want to know, for example, crewman Davis had scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning and he put salt, pepper, and ketchup on them. He also tried to eat with his left hand. He served with Kurita forces for 2 years on..."she drones on for about a half a minute before she gets cut off.
"As you can see, " Syllyrya coughs, " She tries to keep on top of everything. Ask her anything you want and she'll come up with an answer...within reason."

OOC: We're talking about loong tunnels that don't like too many explosions, I don't want a ceiling to fall on my head.

Err... what does the mine look like? Are there any holovids that would give me an idea? I would like to know if the mine can withstand fighting, or if there is a good chance to encounter any problems commonly associated with mining. Like gas pockets unstable areas. Hell, what is the situation with seismic and volcanic activity? This planet seems fairly active to me.
