==Overview:==
The Nagakama is a fast mech for it's weight class, and carries impressive
firepower for use against lighter armed and equiped oppeants.
Mainly used for rapid interventions and breakthrough operations as well as
counter insurgencey operations, the Nagakama has seen operations on numerous
worlds in both the Co-Alliance and the outer territories of the coreward
sector.
Comon use by many commanders is use a lance or more of Nagakamas to keep
pressing at enemy lines and at their lines of communaction and supply. These
tactics have worked wonderfully against several insurgent groups in the outer
territories and also against rebel groups inside the Vondor Imperium.
One area that hurts the Nagakama is the dependacny on ammo weapons, but this
is over come by having the pilots fall back once they have expended their
missiles completly and thus insuring that they don't get over committed.
==Variants:==
The Zokar Hegemony has several variants in their military and using their
higher technology they have improved upon the Nagakama by adding a Active
Prode to it's weaponary.

The LAC looks weak, but against lights and vees it should work well. SRMs also look dangerous, but some energy backup would be handy (I would prefer 2 ER meds and DHSs). Does the lack of energy weapons have something to do with faction availability?.

No, just what they went with.
Silly computer...arggh.
They went with the ammo weapons mainly to keep things on par with tactical doctrine they were using.

Hmm, their choice, but the 'Mech lacks concentrated firepower. Is it meant to be used in team with some specific 'Mechs? It may be a good raider, but I wonder what it will do when something like Phoenix Hawk or Wraith appears... well according to fluff if its on the same map sheet with a 'Mech like these then something went wrong

It's not a perfect mech by far. It's not meant to stand and slug it out.
It's meant to hit and run...and fight against rebels and other not so high tech oppeants.
Yes it will die against heavier machines, so it takes some use of tactics and some skill to use.
