Just a quick question, I have sifted through the HMpro forums but haven't really found an answer.
Will the HMpro Program be incorportating the total warfare rules. Theres some interesting new rules especially regarding what weapons count as Tech level 2 and three. As well as adding things like LMG's and HMG's to inner sphere.
Any ideas? It would save editing all the weapons in.

Rick as has said in the different parts of the HMPro forum that all of the TW stuff will be in HMPro 6.

Yeah, but this is a capitalistic country.
It takes a lot of Rick's time to do it. The cost of his software of $30 is very reasonable for the base programs. So I bet he will mainly charge for disks and time. Knowing him personally he will be reasonable. Otherwise people will not buy it.

It's kind of a shame that there is not a community supported open-source option. That's not to say that there are no free 'mech editors out there, but nothing which is really considered tournament legal besides HMPro. There's no reason why the sort of changes you describe could not have already been done.

And the second you make it open source the designs printed from it will no longer be tournament legal.

Yes, but if you already have Pro, it'll be half price, around $15 or so from what Rick said.
