OK, I haven't completed everything to this point, but I really wanted to get this out there. I figured I can implement the other sections as I go. One area most of you will notice is missing right of the bat is Technical readouts. I plan on working on the viewing of the designs first and the actual submission module won't be implemented until I incorporate the Total Warfare ruleset into it.
If anyone notices any issues, PLEASE either post them into the Site Bugs and Enhancements forum or create an ERS ticket directly. I will work on any bugs that are discovered first and foremost and work on enhancements as time permits.
Again, this new layout will allow for future themes down the road by making it significantly easier to create the code required for those themes. And I don't mean just a different color, but entirely different layouts as well. They'll still require work, but will require much simpler implementations.
Anyways, hope you enjoy. And if there is something you'd like to see, put in an Enhancement request in the ERS system as well.

The brushed grey with screws looks great, so I'm one happy visitor. Perfect for BattleTech. 
There's a few things I noticed quite off the bat.
I had Mordel's bookmarked in my browser as www.mordel.net/news.php?action=view
Since the News section wasn't up (or perhaps because I wasn't logged in?) my browser couldn't take me here. Luckily I know enough to try cutting off the extras after the site name. Some may just think the site is down.
And the instruction tickets that come up when you mouse-over the Calendar and Error butons on the top right are misplaced. They go too far to the right, disappearing under my right-side scroll bar.

I liked them too. Which is why I used them.

Well, I was thinking of putting a redirect in, but didn't want too many files cluttering up the directories. I think MOST people will know enough to try it without the extra stuff after the domain. It may take a few days, but I'm sure it will eventually happen.

Yeah, I've noticed that and have been meaning to see what I can do to fix it for some time. I'll put a request in to look at it. Remember, these types of things are perfect for entering into the ERS. (Hint, hint)

When I hit my old link I get a page that says can't find it that includes a link for just .net. So it wasn't hard to get here.

The default 404 page is dependent on the browser. FireFox just throws up a regular page not found page with no links. I think the IE default page gives more possible reasons and maybe even the link to just the domain.

IE gave me a odd page not found link. when I went and looked for Mordels Bar and Grill I got the old link. I figured that it would have provided a link to the new site but it didnt. I ended up having to e-mail vagabond inorder to get the new link.
