These are based on a few things I bumped into last night while attempting to roll up some NPCs.
1. For the "Dependents" trait, it says that a 2-point dependent is someone who has trouble taking care of themselves or has some sort of limiting condition.
Well, what would be considered the minimum requirement for this?
The situation was that I was creating a husband / wife team. For the wife, I got an event roll in high school that had her being injured while playing sports. I took "Poor Vision" as her injury, meaning that she now has to wear glasses. Due to the story I created for the incident (a rival soccer player deliberately kicked the ball into her face), I also gave her the "Glass Jaw" trait. Thing is, the wife is a doctor; she can function, but has those limits on her physical health.
So would I treat her as a Dependent [1] or Dependent [2]?
2. The "Fit" trait in the Companion manual says that it's completely incompatible with such things as "Disability" and "Glass Jaw."
Thing is, if one actually reads the descriptions for those two traits, there's some wiggle room.
For the husband, to counter a GM fiat I did in his creation process I set it up so that he has Disability [2]: Digestive; he overloaded himself back at the military academy, and so he now has a perpetually sour stomach. However, aside from that he's perfectly healthy and is almost as good a doctor as his wife. And I've explained the wife's situation.
So, would it be reasonable for me to create an exception to the rules in this instance?

1. I think that is a clear cut case of a 1 pointer. She can take care of herself. If she was a child, or very much disabled, that would be a 2 pointer. Someone who is crippled and can't walk is on the line of the two... They could survive without help, I've seen it done. But it would be much easier with another person. Someone who is paralyzed would be a good candidate for 2. (Although, I'd push that one all the way to 3.)
2. Works for me. I don't see any reason why this would not be possible.
