I took this mini from the beginners set and cut the arms for a reposing
plus adding a PPC in RT and substituting the LRM5 in head with a
medium laser:

Nice mod! let us see it again when it is painted. The laser in the head looks quite menacing.

However.....the pink belly button on the green grasshopper is a bit disturbing...it is kind of giving me the willies.

I miss lead. It was very easy to reposition and doing minor shaping was an easy issue. Does anyone remember Raladium? That stuff sucked. Today not as bad but not lead either.

AWAD- But if you dropped a lead mini you had reshaping done for you

Most of my kit bashing was done with Ralidium. All I can say is thank god for Dremels, super glue and bandaids......

Hee hee. I repositioned a metal Victor made of the lovely crap. I basically cut it up through the hip joints and straightened the body to give it less of a "I'm getting kicked in the tookus" look. It took about 2 hours with a razor saw to get the legs apart. I miss lead. Good ol soft, malleable, toxic lead.

Incidentally, GW's plastic minis are fairly nice to modify. But metal minis seem to take paint so much better.
