Yes, I know. You can never have too much speed on a computer, but I found a way.
I've got a couple of older Windows games, Myth: The Fallen Lords is the big one. They won't run on my main desktop because it has 1 gig of RAM, so when the programs go to run, they think there's not enough room for a swap file. Or something to that effect -I'm going off the error messages and the readme files.
So far, I get around this by playing the games on another computer. But it's nicer to have everything on one computer. And I thought to myself...
"Self, there are people who know a lot about computers at the B&G. Let's ask them."
So, is there a software work-around for this or am I pretty much stuck maintaining a 12 year old computer to play Myth and Close Combat?
