What's cool about this pic is it isn't staged, I snapped it without him noticing me getting ready to take a picture and I just happened to catch him reaching for a mech.

MoB camping in the heavy woods.
Not normally a tactic MoB uses, but he didn't have much of a choice as his faster teammates raced across the ice and were not easy to hit, making him the easiest target.

This is where we all realized that four Solitaires were a very formidable force of their own.
Once Wrangler's flank collapsed under Cliff's and my mechs his Solitaires just ripped into the slower, heavier mechs.

Yep! This is the turn that I opened up on that Masakari. The next turn is when I mauled him (engine and a gyro hit) but couldn't quite put him down. He didn't expect to live, that was evident by the heat spike and the failed avoid roll. The next turn I called shots to CTr with 3 of my Solitaires. The fourth shot at Firebee's Timberwolf B. I missed the first called shot (range 1!) but the random location turned out to be 12 so that clan heavy large laser did put him down. Firebee wasn't lucky either, I connected my clan heavy large laser with his Timberwolf B with another 12! Two assaults in one turn! It was sweet.

My Masakari got spanked.......badly! The Solitaires just kept moving so fast not even Wrangler could halt their flanking sweep (not like he tried!) and then they all came at me and ripped me a new @hole! At least I head capped Hardware's Annhilator C before I got mauled. (ha ha). However my Battle Cobra didn't quite stand up to his Blood Asp as well as I expected. As a matter of fact, not well at all.  Between his two mechs he had 6 AC 10 Ultras, I believe. Ouch!
Oh, and as for next year.....Cliff may only pilot mechs with a 2/3 movement. Man I love being the host!
