Title pretty well says it. I haven't posted anything for a while, and happened to have this lying around, so thought I'd share it. The original Thanatos isn't a bad design, but is overly large, overly fragile, and overly expensive for what it does. So here's a smaller, cheaper version. This version can also stand the destruction of a torso.
Still no CASE sadly.

==Variants==
The editor suggests dropping the MRM-20 for something lighter and more useful. A good suggestion, technology base allowing it, is an MML-9 with two tons of ammo, CASE and some more armor. You lose significant long range power, but make up for it up close, and with your ability to use various different missile types.
You could also readd the C3 module, which was deemed redundant on a Federated Suns/Lyran Commonwealth design.
