I put a ticket in to make the change. It's #0801-028 and I put your name, mud, as the Requester since you were the one who initiated it. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I decided not to wait but I've run into a new probelm. I'm making a design with 14 double heat sinks but when I distribute my weapons and equipment it's only allowing me to distribute 2 double heat sinks instead of 4. _________________ "All it takes for evil to prevail is for good to do nothing."

Looking at the design stored in the working table in the database (assuming it's the one), it is a 75 ton 'mech with a walk of 4. This would put the engine rating at 300, meaning 12 of those heat sinks are included in the engine. Hence the need to only distribute 2. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Hey Mordel,
Thanks for all of your hard work for the TRO Submissions. It's been great seeing it come along from the sandbox to its latest form. You had a warning stating that you weren't sure how Firefox 1.5 & Mac would work with the new program. FYI, as a Mac user running Firefox & Tiger, I was able to submit a design. Everything seemed to go smoothly.

That's great news!!!
When I release the next code update (probably some time in the next couple days), be sure to submit another design. I'm gathering browser information on designs that are submitted, and for ones that come in and are approved I will update my list so the Warning box does not appear. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

For some reason the design I submitted showed up as a Level 2 even though it uses Level 3 technology. Is there any way to fix that? _________________ "All it takes for evil to prevail is for good to do nothing."

I actually changed it to Level 2 because it did not use any Level 3 equipment. What equipment was on there that you felt was Level 3? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Isn't Stealth Armor level 3? _________________ "All it takes for evil to prevail is for good to do nothing."

No. Stealth Armor is Level 2 and can only be used by the Inner Sphere. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

For those who do not read the announcements, I uploaded some new code that added some new functionality to the BattleMech submissions module. That includes the following:
* "Balance" checkbox added to the Armor screen so balance will be adjusted evenly among Left/Right sides. HMP has this and it's really nice. So figured it was time I got my ass in gear and added it as well.
* Level 3 Cockpit systems were added. I'm gonna make an effort to incorporate much more level 3 items. So this is the start of that.
More will be added. Eventually I may even get to vehicles and battle armor and all that fun stuff. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Not yet. That will come at a later time, like after HMP6 comes out. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

The lvl 3 thing you probably meant was the null-signature system, which works in a similar way, but doesn't require the ECM suite. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Considering I actually haven't even design a 'Mech using the TW rules, it would be a little difficult for me to implement the changes. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
