Hey all. Wow, its been a while since I posted here. Some of the old guard might remember me.
I am taking account of all my Battletech merchandise in preparation to sell it and I could use some help identifying some of the more old, obscure Battletech products. Mainly I would like to organize the maps I bought back into their sets, but maybe that is a fools errand. Also, I have a group of sixteen old plastic minis that date back to the original 3025 days that came together as one product. The mechs represented are the Atlas, Catapult, Locust, Panther, Blackjack, Hunchback, Valkyrie, and Trebutchet. I thought the pack was called Battletech Reinforcements, but that's not it. Any help you could give would be appreciated. _________________ Gangrene

You sure the plastic minis didn't come as part of the boxed set? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Ack! You're leaving the fold for good?!?
Cool of you to come back here to bid the hobby farewell.
You're right - those particular miniatures were part of their own boxed set. That set, however, was rather wittily called "PlasTech".
Of course, I'd always be interested in acquiring some nice "LosTech"; however, I think the shipping charges would kill me. _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

PlasTech! That's it, thanks! I knew it was some kind of box set or package, I just couldn't remember what it was called.
Yeah Jymset, it looks like its time to bail for good. I haven't touched the game in at least 5 years, and what's left of my gamer ways is gravitating towards poker and XBOX games. Battletech still holds a lot of sentimental value, but I cannot justify lugging it all around anymore.

If you happen to be near the San Fran bay area I will sell you my entire collection for $50. I weighed it all on my bathroom scale and I estimate the total weight at 40 lbs so it would cost a lot to ship, probably more than the stuff is worth _________________ Gangrene

What you could always do is scan places like E-Bay to see how much your stuff is going for individually.
For some books, you might get far more selling them that way than putting everything up as a single lot. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." $ 50 for 40 lbs of BT stuff?!?!
I'd so take you up on that generous offer, but I do live in Germany, I'm afraid.
If you are not invested in leaving a "legacy" by passing your collection along in one piece, I would definitely suggest going the way that Kraken suggested. 40 pounds of BT stuff that includes uncommon items such as PlasTech? I think it is safe to say that 50 Dollars is a huge underestimation.
If you have a list of stuff, I may still be interested in acquiring some of your lightweight items! _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

I'm not interested in leaving a legacy, I just want to get rid of the stuff. Here is a list of everything except the map sets. I placed an ad on craigslist that expires next Wednesday. If you see something you like go ahead and PM me and, if I haven't sold it by next Wednesday, maybe we can work something out.

Hell, for $50 it's worth it to also pay for shipping. If I were interested... _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I'm just asking because PayPal is generally quicker than checks or money orders.
It's basically the default payment method for Half.com and E-Bay now. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)
