Here is something I did over at CBT that was meant as humorous. Hope you guys enjoy it!

==Overview:==
Conceived of by House Liao in the early 3060s, the Awesome Urbie (AWUM-2Q, as
it was otherwise designated) was designed to be the final word in low-cost
urban defense.  Retaining the mass and speed of the original UrbanMech, the
design team even kept standard internal structure.  The removed all the normal
weapons of the UrbanMech, however, and installed 6.5 tons of Stealth armor to
replace standard armor of the original.  Fitted with a Guardian ECM Suite in
the center torso, the design team at Hellespont believed that this new 'Mech
could use the ECM and Stealth to slowly move through the urban enviroment
without detection.  Such designers have obviously never watched a parade of
'Mechs travel by, however.

For a weapons suite, Hellespont had intended to retain the original weapons
mix--albeit with a lighter, faster firing autocannon.  However, disaster
struck when a Davion RCT decided to capture the world manufacturing those
autocannon in order to construct several new Atlantis tropical Resorts and
Casinos.  Turning to the their warehouses, they found that they had been
mistakenly shipped several hundred of the new 'Light PPCs' and 'Snub-nose
PPCs' in cases mistakenly labeled 'Saki'.  After twenty-four hours of mourning
over the lost beverages--including two suicides--the design team decided to
make Lemonaide from Oranges.  Having just enough room to fit two Light PPCs
and one 'Snubbie', they found themselves with a half ton left over.

Deciding that no 'Mech is complete without the ER Small Laser of Doom, the
design team included one in the head of 'Mech.  Interestingly, the technical
manual on these new 'Mechs insists that THIS weapon is the primary of the
design, since it is well known that in the hands of fiat all a MechWarrior
needs to triumph is a functioning small laser.

The first prototype (the AWUM-1Q) walked out of the factory shiny and
glistening, and then it engaged its stealth system.  Blindfolded in
advance--and wearing ear protectors--the design team declared it a triumph of
technology as it marched past with none of them detecting it.  Twenty minutes
later, the blackened, burnt-out shell was returned to the factory.  Single
heat sinks had NOT after all proven a viable idea.

The AWUM-2Q, which became the standard production model, replaced the older
inefficient model with newer Double Heat Sinks gained by selling yet another
Capellan world to another power.  Presented with the deal--fight us or give us
200 tons of double heat sinks--the 7th Crucis Lancers simply said, dude,
chill.  There is enough to share.  Like peace out, man.

The Awesome Urbie was finally finished and deployed on Sian (the last world of
the Capellan Confederation) to protect the Forbidden City and the Chancellor
himself.  At last census count, the population of the Forbidden City was 1
Chancellor, 2,347 servants, and 540 AWUM-2Q serving as palace guards, traffic
police, and school crossing ushers.

I don't know about it really being an Urbanmech anylonger but it does seem to be like you said an Awesome which was shrunk down. urby sadly no.
