So are the original 14 coming back in their original looks or not?

no. it means that only a few of the 14 will be seen again. Certain ones as listed [basically the ones directly tied to Macross] are legally unavailable.

Un-Re-Never-Ex-Maybe-iSeen. . . . (the last one is the Apple version. It looks cool, is fairly robust, comes with lots of drug-induced wall papers on the main viewport, is hawked by some scruffy looking kid or the guy who played Ian Malcom, is impossible to get parts for, and when you buy it, you know the salesman has a more advanced version he's going to put out the minute you pay for this model)
Aw Hell. Someone just give me a gauss rifle to the head.
Just goes to show you there are certain advantages to rampant piracy.
