I'm now officially closer to 30 than I am to 20...I just turned 26 today...
Oh well...at least I have some new BTech stuff here and on the way to console me...Ed Karl got my Crusader Clans FM (signed by Randall Bills and Loren Coleman btw), Living Legends and BattleForce rulebook to me yesterday, and I should be receiving DropShips and JumpShips sometime this next week or early the following week...and I'm just about to send in the money for the Chaos March sourcebook and the Dragon Roars scenario book...

Happy Birthday, but being closer to 30 than 20 happened last birthday.
The days of the "age of 20" are inclusive while the days of the "age of 30" are exclusive. So after you hit the age of 25 half of your 20s was over, so when you turned 25 years and 1 day you were closer to 30 than 20.

Yeah, yeah...I tried to ignore that...reaching my first quarter century (by age number) was bad enough without thinking of that...so I shoved it off to this year
Now I can have 2 years of moderate misery, rather than 1 of extreme...

Being 30 is not so bad. I am 37. And it rocks.
30 is primetime. Because you can act you are in your 20's. but get all the perks of being in the 30's (Cheaper ARP.Lower insurance rates. And woman love an older man)
So Happy Birthday. and getting one step closer to the goodlife in the 30's.

Happy birthday, Ruger!
Let me know how 26 is treating you, since I'll be joining you there later on in November

The part of being over 30 that gets to me is thinking about all that wild stuff I never did in my 20s. Why the hell didn't I go to South Padre Island on Spring Break and get drunk out of my mind? _________________ "Those who beat their guns into plows will plow for those with guns..." -Thomas Jefferson

26 isn't so bad. I've been there for six months now, and I'm still as immature as I was before!

I think it's actually aided me in writing more on the third installment of my Decisions and Consequences BTech fanfic...I've almost doubled what I had before (almost on page 11 of this part...maybe another 3 to 5 pages to go...making it the longest part thus far)...I could possibly be done with the rough draft of it tomorrow (I have to go to sleep shortly so I can get up to be to work at 5AM tomorrow), which means it might be posted as early as the end of this next week!
