So I'm currently working to finalize the PDF generation of designs. That in conjunction with being able to save a design in MegaMek format are the two big things that will be coming. I have the below list entered as other potential enhancements. I'm looking for everyone who reads this (if their so inclined) to let me know what other enhancements or features they'd like added to this list. I'm going to take this list and ultimately create a poll section so people can vote on the one they want the most. I'll take the results of that poll and make the highest voted ones the priority.
- Implement drag-n-drop on the distribution page
- Incorporate OmniMech functionality
- Implement Mixed Tech TRO submissions
- Incorporate Armored Components functionality
- Incorporate Level 3 structures
- Incorporate Level 3 Armless 'Mechs
- Create ability to Search Technical readouts
- Check that Tech Level is accurate when saving
- Add ability to import design in HeavyMetal Pro file format
- Add BV2 calculations
- Allow for both Inner Sphere and Clan names where applicable
- Add ability to import design in MegaMek file format
- Add ability to import design in Solaris Skunk Werks file format
- Add ability to export design in HeavyMetal Pro file format
- Add ability to export design in Solaris Skunk Werks file format
- Change TRO submissions so they are available even before approval

Are we going to receive the other variants from the new TROs and RSs? I could start to submit them via system perhaps? _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

I thought about that, but I think I want to get some of the new features implemented before I start doing those. Such as Rules level, OmniMech functionality, etc. Some of the things that are sorely missing. I'm working on them all, so once I've implemented them, I'll let you know and would gladly appreciate the help!! I have quite the backlog. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

This all sounds very good!
I think it will be a hell lot of work though. _________________ Reality is where the Pizza-man comes from!'Gucken, petzen, verpissen!' No more so then inputting the original batch years back!
As for the updates, I'm halfway done with supporting OmniMech designs. It'll be nice in that it enforces the design based on the BASE chassis. So you don't simply mark it as being an OmniMech. To create an omnimech you have to first create a BASE chassis or load an existing BASE chassis or other OmniMech built off a BASE chassis. Doing this will "fix" everything that is suppose to be fixed and only allow you to update what is allowable.
When that feature is done I'm going to upload the files and will ask for folks to give it a thorough testing. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
