======================================================================================
Overview:
This is a middle of the road approach when it comes to upgrading this stolen
Dragoon design. Some would say that if you upgrage the 4 AC's they should all
    remain the same type.

    I disagree.

This version combines the devastating damage power of the twin ultras with the
scatter effect of the LBX's. together it covers both the strong points while
also the weak ones when only one style of a similar weapon is used.

Capabilities:
Having twin AC 10 Ultras and paired LBX's firing at a single target is more
than ample to get the attention of even the most laid back pilot.

The devastating damage thats delivered by the two Ultras into a single location
is bad enough but when you are also shotgunned by the paired LBX 10's it's very
hard to stay awake or alive much less fight back.

The 4 medium lasers are more in case for some reason the pilot runs out of ammo
before he/she runs out of targets. but do make a good back up.

The ECM and Active Probe seem to come standard stock on most Lee System Mechs
that are produced for the 82 Division. If true then the Fog of war among those
whom they are fighting against just became that much more dense.

Deployment:
This mech is known to be deployed with Wolf's Dragoons, The Kell Hounds, the
Wolves in exile and now this variant belonging exclusively to the 82
    Division...

Wolf-net is reportedly still trying to find out how the blueprints for their
    versions were obtained.

Variants:
The only variants known to exist are the "stock" versions that are used by the
Kell hounds, Wolves in exile and Wolf's Dragoons.

Notable MechWarriors:
    No information provided

Its a decent design. Solid reasoning for the original unit.

I just possess a natural aversion to Ultra ACs. I do not like the nearly 3% chance to JAM them. If they had come with the RAC clearing rules or an upgrade that could give them the clearing ability then i would like them. Then add on top of that that they only do the extra damage about 42% of the time, and you loose me.

I have argued on this bored before that UACs need to be retconed with a way to Unjam them in a battle and given a +1 or +2 on the cluster hit table.

As such, I would have preferred to see x4 LBX. I have played enough fights to have seen just how very effective the LBX is over their UAC cousins in obtaining Head hits, TACs, and critical damage. Also add in their effectiveness and whipping out BA, Infantry, vehicles, and Aerofighters (-3 to-hit). They are perhaps the single best AC gun in the game.

but as always, that is just me.

Those are definitely excellent points. I think part of carrying an ULA/20 (in particular) is the awe factor. There's almost a psychological aspect to it. Naturally it's not quantifiable, but I've seen a lot of people completely change strategies because a unit on the board carried one and they didn't want to get near the thing! Now, there's no way to know how that offsets it's inadequacies, but there definitely is some balancing that takes place.

Having that that, I agree with you that LBXs are by far my preferred choice. Especially when you split the ammo between slug (early rounds) and cluster (late rounds).
