some days ago i heard on the news that hotdogs are made from intestines of animals. so to avoid eating poop, don't eat hotdogs.
also, many meat products do have some blood in them, and blood can make you very physically ill.

Some brands are, but that's food too and at least it's food, some of the other ingredients I'm not so sure I can say the same!
If that's news to you, don't look at how sausages are made.

It's been that way since the dawn of sausage.
In most instances, the casing is stomach or intestine that has been specially prepared for this purpose. Said preparation would, of course, clean the meat off so as to make it fit for human consumption.

Let's see, average life of an issue is a tad under 7 months with the slowest resolution taking 5 1/2 years. Anyone want to predict when the Life/Dislike functionality will make it in?

That depends on the amount you drink and how it has been processed. Black soup is made from pig blood for example and it's quite edible, considered a delicacy even.

It also depends on the health of the animal. Just like you can only catch a cold from someone who is sick with a old, you can only become physically ill from consuming blood if the animal was sick with something that could pass to humans, and even then only if it was something strong enough to survive processing.
