After looking at the LGauss again, maybe its not so bad. Same weight as an AC/10, 2 less crits, 6 extra shots, 10 hex extra range, for 2 less damage, 3 min, and an explosion risk.

It is a sniper. I usually prefer the standard Gauss to the light for 3 extra tons you get almost double the damage at a small loss of range. However, a purpose built sniper design once in awhile using the light does make sense. _________________ The JadeDragon
