What is this crap I hear about people forming alliances, or declaring a cease fire?
Grow some balls and man up!
If you get a clean shot at a pulse laser boat and you don't take it, you deserve to lose.
Never give up, Never surrender!

I guess I won't bother asking where you're going to move to. LOL

This is why I love you man!! And why I learned to never really trust you when we form an "alliance". Though in your defense, you were always forthright about not giving you my back.

The only times I think I ever really formed alliances was when someone else was forming them... and even then, pretty much any alliance that I formed was more of a "I am going along this half of the board. If you keep out of my sight, I will not go after you, BUT if you give me your back, I will take that shot"
You wouldn't believe how many people ignored that last part...
Seriously though, if you have even a half decent shot at one of the pulse laser boats and don't take it, you really do deserve to lose.. They are incredibly dangerous but not incredibly durable...

I never have...but the list of those that have is shockingly long.

I love that you're giving us time if we need it, but I would like to think that we won't need 4.5 days to plot out combat. Maybe we could tighten this up?

I can definitely do that. I'm trying to be cognizant that folks may go somewhere for the weekend or what-not. But you're right, I'll shorten it and if folks indicate they can't meet the timeline can extend it on those rare instances.
Are you that bored with the game already? Or is it that exciting that the anticipation between phases is killing you?

Personally? Anticipation. I want to see how long I can live given my extreme amount of damage...

No, not bored at all. I'm really enjoying it.
I was a little taken aback by Daishi walking backwards through me this turn. I will assume that I've missed this in the rules somewhere, but just to confirm. The only time you're checking for two units in the same hex is if more than one Mech tries to end in the same hex? Before that moment, we're all essentially ghosts?

That's an interesting point. I never considered it, but I can see how the initiative order could lead to that assumption. In my mind, the fact movement was simultaneous, meant everyone is moving fluidly though (over, under, around, etc) one another. So in a sense, we are all just ghosts until we materialize at our final destination.
I'll be sure to add something to the rules for that so the simultaneous movement better explains that enemy units do not block movement, save for that last claimed hex.
Thanks for bringing it up. That's why this is appropriately titled "Preseason".

I'm still alive
I am quite shocked... Man, if I can roll well, I might be able to survive even longer! I still have a +3 for being in the woods and prone

Unless someone decides to stand right next to you, that is!

After talking to Stinger07, I wanted to announce a couple rule clarifications/changes.
First a "clarification". If a player tries to move into a hex that is occupied by a unit that declared to not move, that player ends its move 1 hex short of the intended hex. This is regardless of the initiative order. Essentially, once a player has a hex, it is that player's hex until he decides to leave it, or dies.
Which leads me to the "new" rule. Charging and DFA are allowed movement declarations. You are declaring to move to a certain hex, and charge/DFA a unit if it happens to be there. If no unit is in the intended hex, you simply take the hex as normal. However, since you declared a charge/DFA, you will not be able to declare any weapons fire.
Any questions, complaints?

That's how it worked in my email games...and it does come into play a lot more than you'd think.
