Well, turn 4 weapons fire is shaping up to be a real sizzler of a round!
Will we get our first kill of the game?
Will the potential back-shots have any real effect?
Will Pinhead say "Sure, I'm at 11 heat and would like to cool down a bit, but this is too good to pass up!!"?

| I am hoping for a golden BB kill on chihawk. The odds are what, 1/36 (floating crit) * 1/36 (head shot) * 15/36 (critical chance) * 1/6 (chance of getting a cockpit crit), roughly, which makes it a .5% chance per hit. I might be able to get 6 hits between all of my weapons, so I have a 3% chance for a kill! Woo!

Hoping for 6 hits is a bit generous considering you need a 7 and then 9's. But far crazier things have happened.
Actually, no... I don't think anything crazier has happened than what you're hoping for!

One year at Gen Con, I was working the gaming area. We had all the tournaments running and nothing really to do for the next 3ish hours. TRO 3058 had just come out. We decided to each take a Clan mech and run a 3 on 3 or something like that. There were no preprinted sheets then so we all took blank record sheets and filled them in by hand. Randall was hanging around and we got him in too.
First turn I got Randall in Clan ER PPC max range. I needed a 12 to hit. Rolled 12, then 12 for location. Thank you for playing.

Well, there was an awful lot of carnage in round 4 firing, though no one has died. Tough to say who's worse off at the moment, though I guess you can't be any worse off then missing a leg (sorry Stinger07). A couple engine hits, a limb loss, a little bit of head damage. I'm starting a pool on who will be the first one dead and what round they'll go out. Who wants in?

Does it count if they say screw the heat and cook themselves? I came so close to saying to hell with it and firing the large laser last round...

If you blow up in a round that someone hits you, then whoever hits you gets the credit for the kill and the points. You could argue that them hitting you had nothing to do with you blowing up, but it's got to work somehow, and I'd prefer me not to have to make some kind of judgement call. Only at the start of the phase does it reset, and if you die during movement does no one get the kill or points.
Now, if no one damages you in a turn you die due to heat, or anything else, then no one gets the credit since no one has claimed you.

Turn 5 results were posted, and there wasn't as much damage dealt this turn as last. Though those who did take some are probably cursing me (join the club). Very interesting that no one is going in for any kills, but rather circling. I'd expect perhaps a secondary shot or two.
Will be interesting to see what happens in turn 6.

OK, with turn 6 movement now posted, I just KNOW that this has to be the round that we see our first kill. It just has to be! There are so many chances out there for ultimate death. Dice don't fail me now!
