i'm alayne leung and i've been playing BT since the late 1980s. BT rules appear to be easily comprehendable, though i'd like some rules included in Interstellar Operations to make BT more playable because: 1, currently some BT rules don't make much sense, i.e., that rule that requires a jumping unit to use the shortest path when it uses jump jets/jump pack (in reality, a pilot/driver could use a longer path to jump her/his unit if she/he desires); and 2, some rules appear to be missing like there's got to be a rule for 'Mechs/conventional vehicles throwing explodeable things at targets.

Welcome aboard! Agree that not all rules are perfect, but then again we play a game where a machine gun goes a short distance. So we sort of live with things not being "real" for the sake of game play. You can always house rule things as you see fit.

thank you, Mordel. there was a guy i met that claimed he was qualified to be an O17 Admiral in the US Navy and that there are 5 words of violence the government gets very concerned about being sent via the internet; do you think that the government will fine people if they use these words and/or other words related to violence? i mean, the US Government might become overburdened trying to determine who uses violent words for:

*fictional products such as BT and other fictional media propaganda;
*real life violent instructions to tell others to do illegal violent acts of terrorism;

and therefore might impose a tax or fine or service charge on the ISPs of people that use violence related words. Yeah, we have the First Amendment right, but there was a law enforcement officer that said shortly after the 9/11 attacks that "nobody has any rights anymore".
