If I'm being honest, I absolutely loathe the fact you moved to a small cockpit. The last thing a light, fast moving 'mech needs is a penalty on piloting skills checks. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Well, actually I'm still tinkering with it. Small cockpit would be necessary to offset the XXL weight If I'm to keep the 10/15 speed profile. With 9/14 it'd already work fine without it IMO. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

And maybe you've now struck the core of the rationale behind the need for the XXL. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Nah, it's more a matter of compromise for me. In the end I'd rather eat that penalty and drop one ton of armour to keep this. That penalty is not such a big deal with clan pilots (yes, they would hate me more), but I can make it reasonably priced and keep the original configurations and better heat management. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!
