Overview:
    The Guardsmen was one of several designs being drawn up to replenish the Com Guards depleted
    units. In simulations, the design worked remarkably well, especially for the green recruits
    that were meant to join the ranks. Unfortunately by the time the Guardsmen was ready for
    full scale production, the Jihad had occurred. The production line was destroyed before a
    single Guardsmen could come off the production line.

Capabilities:
    Only two types of weapons were implemented into the chassis to help train graduates. Three
    ER Large Lasers for range and four mediums in case something got too close. An ECM suite
    helps protect the unit but its main purpose is to act as an ECCM to protect the network
    granted by the C3i Computer. No ammo, easy weapon groupings and heat management, integrated
    network electronics, and jump jets were all indusive to the design's ease of use.
    
    Guardsmens performance during test were considered about average in single combat but
    exemplary when used in the six-unit levels that was favored by the Com Guards.

Deployment:
    With the destruction of key factories and components, the design only exists in plans and as
    the dozen or so prototypes that have disappeared.

Variants:
    The design's armaments were considered boring by many detractors, but proved more than
    effective. Two variants were also planned. One that would remove the whole electronics suite
    for 4 additional medium lasers and one that would do the same for the jump jets. A third was
    considered for adding 8 mediums.

If you can, add Endo-steel and swap to Light FE not XL.
