Overview:
A vision of the future for the Battle Jackdaw scout 'Mech as envisioned by it's pilot Uwe
Frachtmeister, and approved by the rest of the extensive Frachtmeister-Junkers family.
Whether the chassis will ever be iin state permitting such modification is debatable, but
once can always hope for the best while adding another layer of duct tape around the wiring.
The history of abuse by 2nd Alphecca Guard has left some deep marks as have the lean months
following the operation Contangion (which the 'Mech has fortunately avoided due to it's
already bad shape).
Capabilities:
The overall heat management of the basic FS9-K is slightly improved by addition of another
heatsink in place of the rear flamer, but the armour is still barely acceptable and Uwe's
gunnery skills are barely sufficient to hit practice targets while doing anything else than
standing still, so the best hope for Zippík is currently to keep on the move and spot
targets for his group. If everything goes well the small lasers could get replaced with a
much more useful medium laser that could provide much needed reach and add some additional
wrikles to grandma Junker brow. Uwe doesn't look forward to extra hours of reactor
maintenance under her stern gaze now that she finally got an aide who can catch him.
Fortunately Uwe's sister Heike didn't catch all grandma's manners yet.
Deployment:
Wherever Battle Jackdaws will find themselves, if the modifications will ever be executed.
Notable MechWarriors:
Uwe Frachtmeister is far from notable, but grandma will disassemble your Atlas bit by bit
and shove it up your... aehm... if you will scratch the reactor. Do you feel lucky, punk?
