Overview:
    The Mad Cat Mad "Kat" is an example of what a lot of elbow grease and skill can achieve.
    Katie Madigan's Sabre Swords Mercenaries Inc. managed to salvage an entire Timber Wolf
    Prime, after a lucky ER PPC to the head destroyed the 'Mech's cockpit and killed the
    Mechwarrior, without destroying the head outright. In that same mission, they also salvaged
    an untouched Clan 300 XL Engine (complete  with all 12 of its Internal Heat Sinks) from a
    now legless Night Gyr A.
    
    The Sabres had recently acquired some newly non-experimental  Actuator Enhancement System
    kits as payment for a mission, so Katie tasked her ace ?Mech Tech? Jonah Estrada with
    putting all the pieces together. She gave him the Timber Wolf chassis, her old dual-MRM 40
    Catapult, the Night Gyr Engine and the AES kits and told him to put it all together in such
    a way that it could be not only effective in battle but - critically - maintainable.
    
    He started by removing all armour from the two ?Mechs to have better access to their
    internals, before removing the mammoth 375 XL Engine and all other equipment from the Timber
    Wolf and replacing it with the 300 XL Engine from the Night Gyr. Next he removed the Timber
    Wolf?s Arms and carefully detached the MRM 40 Arm Pods from the Catapult. After modifying
    the Mad Cat?s shoulders suitably so that they could take the Catapult?s arms, mounted the
    MRM 40 Arm Pods onto the Timber Wolf chassis, before fitting an Actuator Enhancement System
    to each arm. Next he placed 5 tons worth of MRM ammo in the Left Torso, complete with an
    I.S. CASE II system; before rounding out the ?Mech?s weapon complement with the 2 ER Medium
    Lasers from the original Timber Wolf Arms, which he put in the Right Torso. Finally, he
    refitted the chassis? armor plating, using 17 tons of hardened armor plating due to the
    difficulties of acquiring replacement Clan Ferro plate. While the end result was
    significantly slower than the chassis? original capabilities, the Mad ?Kat? (as he
    christened it) had a good deal more burst firepower than the original Timber Wolf and
    substantially more armor protection.
