this is easy.......
yes, a squadron that has airsuppiority [assuming theres no fighters for the DS's and Corvette] should be able to straff the larger crafts into retreat [and destruction] as the required entery vectors to land take alot of time and percise piloting to pull off.
assuming that a squadron is 36 fighters and not 12.

I may be speaking out of my ass but, i would have to agree with vagabond that it all depends whats in the dropships. if they are full of fighters the attackers would probbaly have the upper hand, if they are full of mechs the attackers deserve whats about to happen to them, but ide have to say if it were a mix about 50 50 mech asf the attackers might be able to make it through but if they are still in a condition to fight effectively could be a problem
