I wound up trying to demo two things, here: How fast you could repossession a Thumper when you set your mind to it, and what minimum engine weight thing on hovers means.

Seems to me most hovers just pick a speed which triggers the min-weight rule and claim for themselves the title of "SMRT." Mad I'm thinking there's a dividend for getting up off the skids …

I still think you'll do better with a basic Regulator hover tank as a base chassis. It's tad slower, but it can take a hit.

And I respect that; But this is also a Commercial Off The Shelf solution: I've got hover trucks which use this engine, and I have to assume it would be the first, or second, most common vehicle in the motor pool. Thumb

… The more I think about it, the less I want to do an Arrow IV variant: Those would need much more armor.
