Well this past weekend, starting on Friday I went down to Ft. Wayne Indiana and had the chance to attend the Alliance Game Trade show. It was a lot of fun getting to talk to the game manufactories and seeing what they had coming out and what was all actually out.
Picked up a lot of cool promontional items and really enjoyed the time DC Comics took telling us about some of their new events with Justice League on Cartoon Network and up comming events from them...one hint I will give...two old DC WW2 era favorites will be making an appearance on JL this fall...one big hint one of them has a lot of airplanes....
Saw a lot of D20 games and really like some of the up coming products that will be out and about this coming fall.
After the trade show and my recovering from Holistic's excellent gift of Bass Ale by the keg for dinner... hey these guys really rocked they have some excellent games and will be working with some of my old friends at Matrix Games this coming year for a couple of computer games...check out their line of stuff at www.holistc-design.com and no I am not pushing their stuff just because they provided the means for me to get so drunk that when Sunday morning came I was looking like a death warmed over.
From there I went down to Ft. Knox and the Patton Museme and saw all the Tanks they have there. This was really cool since they have added a few since I was last there. Then from there we to Maker's Mark Distillery, if you haven't tried this burbon you need to do so...and if you have the time check this place out, it's near Larrodo KY...from here I ended up at Wright Patterson AFB to visit the Air Force Muesem and that place rocks! They had a prototype of the F-117, B-1, YF-22, and next year they will be getting the B-2, all on display. Some of these aircraft are one of a kind, and very well taken care of.
The only down side to the whole trip was that both muesems were adding on and improving things so a few things were closed to the public and it was a little hard to move around do to the renovation but that was a small price to pay to see the stuff.
Now all I need to do is get my pics on to the computer...but they are going to behind the remaining two rolls of pics from Egypt...
