Thank you. I made a KNB-2K variant that jumps 5. It trades out the ppc, downgrades the gyro to XL, for 5 ER Medium Lasers.

I'm mostly opposed to XL engines, just because I tend to find the disadvantage of death when the side-torso is destroyed outweighs the advantages you get. But I do realize individual experiences and preferences vary. So as much as I love to jump, I'd prefer this design with the Light Fusion, because it is fast enough to overcome the jump, under most common terrain scenarios. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Yeah these are the first mechs I've designed in quite a few years. I am so happy I found your website....getting back into battletech and was dreading designing new mechs by hand. I generally dislike XL engines as well, but I do find myself using them every once in awhile. The Lite fusion engine is one of my favorites as well.
