Trying to put together a hypothetical unit for something, and I'm using BTech vehicles to help me envision it.
The unit in question is smaller. They're big enough to go in, do some damage, and if needs be can hold a larger city for a few hours until relieved. But they're not meant for long-term garrison work.
Their entire "fighter wing" is the commander's Phoenix Hawk LAM, which is also the only mech they have. As far as other air support goes, however, they have what are essentially UH-1 helicopters, some of which are gunships.
Their ground forces largely consist of what would be Pegasus hover tanks backed by a mix of tracked and hover APCs, with a couple of the Heavy Hover Command Vehicle I came up with serving as on-the-go command centers. Of course, they've got a fair mix of pickup trucks, technicals, fleet vans, sedans, and the like to handle support and security operations.
Other than perhaps some sort of armor or dedicated anti-aircraft vehicle, is there anything I'd realistically need to round out such a unit?
