So: You are hoping to prevent enemy infantry form swarming an urban complex you are charged with keeping (but not by preemptively leveling it, as Bad Press is Bad). Study

You got your armor weight; You got your Sensor Dispensor, for instant pickets; You've got a cutting torch to help remodel your hovel.

What you don't have is stealth armor, so you stay within hard cover at all times; You don't have any ability to jump, so you're not tempted to set a signal fire right where you are standing.

And you've got a total of four Unfriending Devices: What more could you want? Thumb
