Overview:
    The most remarkable thing about the Charybdis 2 is that it's a protomech "Variant" that's
    actually a completely different tonnage.  Otherwise it has all the strength and flaws and
    more flaws as the original Charybdis 1.

Capabilities:
    Though the weapons mix is less dumb then the original, its the simulation values that really
    matter.  The changes are simple.  The medium range value is now 3.  How ER Small lasers are
    considered medium range weapons is another point that probably needs to be discussed with
    the keepers of the simulator,  buy that's for another day.  The point value also jumped
    considerably upto 11, which is still cheaper then a unit of battle armor with effectively
    the same capabilities.  That really shouldn't happen...

Deployment:
    Tactical doctrine in the simulator is to combine a pair of Charybdis with something
    screamingly fast, like a Celerity.  A bit of mobility is lost, but not enough to prevent the
    celerity parking behind something and deploying both protomechs.  You're probably going to
    lose the protomechs in short order as formations adapt to cover each other's rear, but
    they're also so cheap the losses are affordable.
