Overview:
    Originally designed by Task Force Talon as an anti-aircraft unit, the PLD-07-UAC 'Palisade'
    has proven equally effective against ground targets due to the respectable firepower of its
    main gun. Coupled with the simple and affordable design which allows for quick and
    undemanding repairs, these qualities have led the Palisade to be widely adopted as TFT's
    primary light tank across most operations.
    
    Despite this role, it is rare to see a PLD-07 leading from the front due to the light armor
    and long optimization for long range performance, leading the tanks to take on a somewhat
    unique 'supporting fire en-masse' role in the frontline. Positioned behind heavier frontline
    units, they have proven invaluable in numerous missions thanks to their multirole nature and
    ability to provide consistent covering fire for advancing friendly units in the field.

Variants:
    There are three main variants of the PLD-07.
    
    The first is the PLD-07-UAC, which was described above.
    
    The second is the PLD-07-ELL which replaces the Ultra AC/5 and its ammo with an ER Large
    laser, providing a more logistics friendly alternative. Thanks to the freed space, an
    additional ton of armor has been added and the vehicle's speed has also been increased
    
    The third is the PLD-07-LRM which attempts to fulfil the same role via the use of an LRM20
    with 4 tons of ammo.
